Frequently Asked Questions
QUALIFICATIONS & ENROLLMENT:
What ages does All Saints' serve?
All Saints’ Preschool serves students age 34 months to 5 years old.
Does my child need to be a Christian to attend?
No. We accept children of all faiths and cultures. Throughout the year the children are exposed to various traditions and beliefs commonly found in Hawaii to familiarize themselves and honor diversity. They may celebrate Christmas and Easter, but they also learn and celebrate other holidays such as St. Patrick's Day, Chinese New Year, and May Day.
Does my child need to be potty trained?
Yes. It is very important that your child be trained and independent in the bathroom before attending preschool. We are licensed to accept only children that have been potty trained. We know children have accidents and we are prepared for this to happen. However, if your child has been accepted and is consistently having accidents, we will assume that he/she is not fully potty trained. At this time, we will remove the child from our program, and will hold their spot until they are fully potty trained.
Do you have space available for immediate enrollment?
During the current academic calendar, All Saints’ Preschool has a rolling admissions process. Please contact the Preschool by email or phone: (808) 822-0122.

What if my child becomes ill?
If your child becomes ill at school, the classroom teacher will separate the child from the group and make him/her comfortable in the the Church/School office while we notify you to pick him/her up. Please keep your emergency contact numbers updated so that you may respond as quickly as possible to the needs of your child. Children may return to the program after being symptom and fever free for 24 hours.
Update as of 6/1/2022: Children who exhibit any symptoms will be sent home to monitor and will not be allowed to return until symptom free for at least 24 hours. We have COVID-19 protocols in place for prevention, case confirmation, and quarantine rules. These compliance rules are included in the enrollment packet. Please note, these rules may change depending on updated protocols provided by the Department of Human Services and County of Kauai.
Can parents/guardians of students volunteer at All Saints?
Absolutely and we encourage it. All Saints' Preschool parents are an integral part of our school community and are actively involved in many areas of campus life. Our program benefits greatly from parents/guardians who volunteer their time and share their gifts and talents. Please speak to your child's teacher to coordinate volunteer days.
Update as of 6/1/2022: Unfortunately, in-person volunteering is restricted at this time. We can still offer volunteer hours through our church or outside of school hours if needed for scholarship compliance, but we hope this rule will be lifted soon.
